**What You Will Do** **:**
Guidehouse is currently seeking an IDX (Centricity Business) AR Project Management and Automation Director. This is a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of IDX systems within Client organizations. You will be responsible for managing projects related to the GE Centricity Business (IDX) platform, optimizing processes, and leveraging automation to improve operational efficiency. Your expertise in project management, healthcare systems, automation will be critical to ensure the successful execution of initiatives that drive the Client organization's healthcare operations forward. The optimal candidate will be well versed with physician revenue cycle, IDX (Centricity Business), EDI processes and have experience with Epic systems. Uses tact and sensitivity when communicating with patients, visitors, co-workers, and other Health System personnel.
This is a part-time position at 20 - 28 hours per week working remotely and/or travel required.
**Project Management:**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, billing, and administrative departments, to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
+ Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to milestones and delivery dates.
+ Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
**IDX System Oversight:**
+ Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for IDX system-related matters, including upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements.
+ Offer technical support to users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to the IDX system.
**Automation and Process Optimization:**
+ Utilize the IDX (Centricity Business) system to its fullest potential for managing accounts receivable, billing, and collections processes.
+ Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the accounts receivable process.
+ Identify areas for process automation and efficiency improvement within system and revenue cycle operations, leveraging technology and best practices.
+ Evaluate current billing and collections workflows, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation, and recommending changes that align with industry standards and regulations.
+ Design, develop and implement streamlined processes to accelerate revenue cycle and reduce manual tasks and enhance productivity.
**Stakeholder Communication:**
+ Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular project updates, status reports, and addressing concerns as they arise.
+ Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback, understand pain points, and ensure that the IDX system meets their needs.
**Epic Conversion Preparation and Involvement:**
+ Participate in the planning and execution of the transition from IDX to Epic, ensuring a seamless migration of accounts receivable processes and data.
+ Provide guidance for staffing allocation between IDX and Epic to minimize overallocation of resources while maintaining budgetary constraints.
+ Collaborate with the Epic Conversion team to identify potential challenges, solutions, and opportunities for process enhancement.
**Documentation and Reporting:**
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, processes, and system configurations.
+ Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on project progress, system performance, and automation initiatives.
+ Participate in the planning and execution of the transition from IDX to Epic, ensuring a seamless migration or runout of accounts receivable processes and data.

**What You Will Need** **:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required, or High School Diploma and equivalent years’ experience.
+ Project management experience, ideally within healthcare or healthcare IT.
+ Proven 7 years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, accounts receivable, or related roles.
+ Extensive knowledge of IDX (GE Centricity Business) and Epic healthcare information systems.
+ Knowledge of healthcare billing and coding practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
+ Proficiency in process automation and relevant tools (e.g., scripting languages, workflow automation platforms).
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision required.

The annual salary range for this position is $115,000.00-$172,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
