We are looking for you to join our team as a **Principal Project Manager** based out of **Cape Canaveral, FL** .
**What you will get to do:**
This role serves within the UK Program Office and involves managing aspects of ongoing projects and acting as a liaison between the U.S./UK customer, other government agencies, and NGMS teams, including program management, planning, project teams, and engineering. This position is integral to the UK Program Office and supports the Vanguard Launcher Programs.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Review and manage project statuses, budgets, and schedules, and prepare comprehensive status reports.
+ Perform roles related to Control Account Manager (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
+ Establish project milestones, monitor adherence to processes and schedules, identify project risks, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
+ Participate in the development of contract proposals and modifications.
+ Support internal and customer meetings, including preparation of presentation materials, content generation, meeting attendance for on-site integration, action item tracking, and post-meeting follow-up.
+ Serve as a primary contact for project activities, contributing to project status review sessions with internal management and customers to discuss cost, schedule, and performance.
+ Assess product needs based on customer specifications and requirements.
+ Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
+ Address project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
+ Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with engineering, project managers, line managers, and clients.
**Travel Requirements:**
+ Domestic and international (UK) travel is required, with frequency varying up to 25-50% of the time.
**Basic Qualifications for the Principal Project Management:**
+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional and/or military experience in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management, OR a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional and/or military experience in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications
+ Prior experience working with cross-functional organizations such as Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Field Operations, etc.
+ Control Account Manager (CAM) experience and/or certification.
+ The ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
+ US Citizenship required.
**Preferred Qualifications for the Principal Project Management:**
+ Experience with TRIDENT II Launcher Subsystem and Support Equipment.
+ Experience in business management, international programs, Navy Submarine, and/or Export Compliance.
+ Active U.S. Secret level security clearance.
+ Experience with cost, schedule, and project leadership.
+ Experience interpreting engineering drawings.
+ Experience in proposal roles and responsibilities is a plus.
Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
