**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ 1-2 years of acute care experience required

+ High school graduate or equivalent technical training

+ Employees hired after 12/31/2015 - Certified Nursing Assistant or LVN or EMT

+ Employees hired prior to 12/31/2015 - CNA or LVN

+ Current BLS required

+ Must have EKG technician competency completed within 90 days of hire and as part of the annual competency thereafter

+ Use ability to communicate clearly in verbal English

+ Use ability to communicate clearly in written English

+ Work at a fast pace in an active work environment

+ Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

+ Must be confident to perform EKG's

**Preferred Requirements:**

+ At least 1-2 years of emergency department experience preferred (or at least 1-2 years Pre-Hospital EMT or Paramedic experience).

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

$27.01 - $33.83 /hour
