**Position Summary**
The Mercy Care PMO Director (Project Management Office Director) is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the project management standards within the health plan. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including strategic planning, project governance, resource allocation, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
**Fundamental Job Components**
+ Lead, direct, and manage the project management team, including matrix reporting relationships
+ Develop and implement project management strategies and processes
+ Oversee project planning, including defining project scope, goals, identification of change management needs, and deliverables
+ Develop executive level presentations for internal/external stakeholders
+ Allocate resources and staff for the successful execution of projects
+ Monitor and control project timelines and budgets
+ Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible
+ Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
+ Ensure project risks are identified and mitigated
+ Report project status, issues, and risks to executive management
+ Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making within the team and among stakeholders
+ Maintain quality and ensure compliance with state, federal and organization requirements
+ Continually develop and enhance project management methodologies and practices
**Required Qualifications**
+ 10 plus years of Medicaid, project portfolio and healthcare experience
+ 3 plus years of management experience
+ Experience planning, executing and delivering outcomes
+ Experience leveraging business intelligence
+ Experience building relationships and driving group outcomes
+ Experience with being proactive in anticipating challenges and taking preemptive action
+ Experience leading and developing others
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Arizona Medicaid and/or Medicare experience
+ Resident of the state of Arizona
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
