**Responsibilities**

**Must have 6 months experience as RN to qualify for** **Staff RN openings.**

The Post Anesthesia Care RN delivers care and performs the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation and

evaluation of therapeutic care that may result from the intrusion of anesthetic agents and techniques for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit.

ALL REGISTERED NURSES will render professional nursing care to patients, support medical care as directed by physicians. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate

behavior consistent with the Core Values. The RN shall support Dignity Health/Dominican Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities

and patient satisfaction.

**Qualifications**

+ Six months of Critical Care nursing experience or PACU Experience

+ Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills required.

+ ASN or Nursing Diploma, required

**LICENSURE:**

+ Current and active CA RN license

+ Current BLS and ACLS Certification Unit specific certifications and qualifications:

+ PALS Certification required within 6 months of employment PACU or Critical Care certification (CPAN or CCRN) preferred

**Pay Range**

$75.68 - $96.75 /hour
