Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Phoenix, AZ

What You Bring to the Classroom
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make a difference from day one. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Education:
High School diploma or GED – required
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential – required
AA in Early Childhood Education or related field – a big plus!
Bachelor’s in Early Childhood or related field – even better!

Experience:
At least 1 year in a licensed childcare setting
Bonus points for 2+ years of childcare experience
Experience with at-risk children or children with special needs is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish? We’d love that (but it’s not required)

What You’ll Do (and Love!)
Get ready to bring energy, creativity, and heart to the classroom every day:

Complete child developmental assessments (ASQ, DECA, and more)
Use Construct Curriculum and Teaching Strategies for lesson plans, documentation, and assessments
Design fun, meaningful activities that spark curiosity and encourage growth
Let children’s interests guide learning – we love emergent curriculum!
Build a classroom community that’s positive, respectful, and full of joy
Be a pro at redirection, routine, and keeping kids engaged and on track
Partner with families through regular updates, check-ins, and collaborative planning
Meet with parents at least 3 times a year to celebrate progress and support growth

Compliance Matters – Here’s What You’ll Need:
To keep everyone safe and our program top-notch, the following are required:

✅ Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
✅ DCS Background Check
✅ Clean law enforcement record (no misdemeanors or felonies)
✅ Negative TB test and up-to-date immunizations
✅ CPR & First Aid Certification
✅ Food Handler’s Card
✅ Must be 18 or older
