+ Act as a resource to all clients, providers and the community.
+ Attend community meetings and health fairs to understand community issues and build relationships with community members.
+ Distribute flyers, brochures, or other informational or educational documents to inform members of a targeted community.
+ Refer community members to needed health services.
+ Provides one to one coaching to those individuals desiring this service.
+ Teach classes or otherwise disseminate health information to groups, targeted families or individuals in a manner consistent with cultural norms
**Qualifications**
Education and Experience Required:
+ High School diploma/GED
+ Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle highly confidential information essential.
+ Ability to work independently, set priorities and manage work within timeframes, read and analyze technical material, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, positive mental attitude.
+ Already persuing or completed Community Health Worker (CHW) training through ASU.
+ AZ DL
