As a Sr. Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aerospace products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role, you will impact the overall quality standards of our aerospace products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements, which will enhance customer satisfaction and support Honeywell's reputation as a leader in the aerospace sector.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The position is a Sr. Quality Engineer. They will be responsible for all of the Minneapolis Product Line in FAB and Inspection.

+ Quality oversight of 2 Inspection areas -total of 11 people

+ Daily meetings with Minneapolis on Quality concerns/improvements

+ Working Quality Notifications Internally and MARS from Minneapolis which lead to eCATs.

+ Investigating all escapes and submitting for reversal when appropriate.

+ Performing Quality Gemba’s to verify machine processes are being performed per compliance requirements

+ Improving Inspection Plans/Work Instructions

+ Spot checking parts to make sure they meet print.

+ Performing containment activities when Minneapolis brings up concerns on the daily call

+ Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure product compliance.

+ Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

+ Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards

+ Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements

+ Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement

+ Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction

**YOU MUST HAVE**

+ 8+ years of experience in quality engineering within the aerospace or automotive industries.

+ Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.

+ Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.

+ Proficiency in quality management systems and regulatory compliance standards.

+ Familiarity with Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

+ 10+ years of experience in quality engineering roles.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

+ Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
