As an **HSE Engineer II-Environmental** here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety for our employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering-related safety. Your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

You will report directly to our Environmental Supervisor and you'll work 100% onsite at our Aerospace manufacturing plant in Phoenix, AZ location.

+ Implementing and maintaining company policies adhering to local, state, and federal environmental, health and, safety regulations related to environmental compliance

+ Involvement in the design and development of facilities, work areas, and work procedures and making environmental, health, and safety recommendations accordingly

+ Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating Environmental policy and procedure manuals

+ Interpreting compliance with environmental regulations, auditing, and keeping abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization

+ Serving as a contact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies

+ Having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

**U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS**

**YOU MUST HAVE**

+ 3+ years of experience in Environmental practice

+ High School Diploma or GED

**WE VALUE**

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Experience with environmental programs (Resource Conservation & Recovery Act (RCRA) - Large Quantity Generator, Clean Air Act - Title V Permitting, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program, Electroplating Wastewater Management

+ Experience with regulatory data collecting & reporting

+ Industrial Hygiene Practices experience

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
