As a Proposal Estimator Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects. You will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's growth and profitability by providing expert-level guidance in cost analysis, bid strategy, and risk assessment. Join us as an Estimator and make a significant impact on our estimating department.

You will report directly to our Sales Operations Manager and you will work out of our Cinisello Balsamo, Italy location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by developing precise and competitive cost estimates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, analyze project plans and specifications, and identify potential risks. Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure the competitiveness and profitability of our bids.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Lead and manage the estimation process for projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop cost estimates

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and identify potential risks

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs

• Review and validate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy

• Controls pricing within published guidelines and handles all requests for discounts. Ensures that pricing deviations are properly approved and tracked, per the delegation of authority matrix and bid approval process

• Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies related to estimating

**REQUIREMENTS:**

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Energy or Automation

• English B2-C2.

• Desired experience in Estimation and Oil&Gas

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Turbomachinery control.Desired knowledge of field instrumentation, monitoring systems, plant software and controls installations

• Desired Proficiency in using estimating software and tools

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
