**Job Summary**

As a Principal Architect you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing Oracle Cloud HCM solutions focusing on Global HR and Workflow modeling. You will leverage your extensive experience to drive innovation and efficiency in HR processes ensuring alignment with business objectives. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance multi-channel and merchandising strategies.

**Responsibilities**

• Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements) for one or more engagements.

• Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan.

• Drive implementation by motivating and directing the project team, a team which may include cross functional departments, third-party vendors, partners, and the client.

• Act as primary interface with the client regarding deliverables, changes, and sign-off on status and requirements.

• Identify and communicate opportunities for new business.

• Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections.

• Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet corporate requirements.

• These positions may require up to 25% travel to customer sites. Candidates can live anywhere in the United States and travel to client locations as required. Easy access to a major airport is preferred.

**Required Qualifications:**

Prefer a BS Degree and has or is in the process of obtaining PMI Certification.

• Oracle Cloud and/or eBusiness suite implementation experience (8+ years).

• Prior project management experience exhibiting ability to follow solid project management principles – RAID Log Processes, Scope, Schedule, Change Control and Resource Management Processes as outlined in the PMBOK

• Program Management skills and experience Bid and Proposal development experience is a plus

• Strong interpersonal skills to deal with company, customers, and vendors

• Experience with Oracle Cloud and Oracle R12 applications is desired.

• Must be comfortable in matrix management environments and work effectively with others in managing complex projects

• Experience managing offshore project resources and teams

• Must have proven track record of successfully leading teams of consultants through entire project life cycle process

• Expertise with Oracle OUM methodology

• Demonstrated ability to communicate conceptual ideas clearly and effectively

• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication and skills

• Travel requirement is up to 25%

**Preferred Qualifications**

1. PMP Certification

2. Agile Project Management Certification

3. Any HCM Cloud Certification (Nice to have)

**Certifications Required**

Oracle Cloud HCM Certification Oracle Certified Architect

**Salary and Other Compensation:**

The annual salary for this position is between $156,000.00 to $180,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
