Phoenix Children’s has a Clinical Nurse position open in our Gastro Clinic!! This position is only 32 hours a week, and you will be working with a close-knit team of 20 nurses who are triaging patients as they call into the clinic. this position requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years pediatric experience working in a hospital environment. Incumbent will help patients/caregivers with a variety of questions they may have, providing education on the treatment plan the doctor has created for the patient. Outstanding listening skills are required, as well as the ability to multitask in a busy environment. This position is M - F, 8 AM - 4:30 PM, and will be primarily located at the Thomas campus, and may need to travel to the Scottsdale office to support staff on an as needed basis. This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
