Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Radiology Technologist II** specializing in **Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)** to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform a variety of MRI examinations according to physician orders, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
+ Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
+ Operate and maintain MRI equipment, performing quality control checks and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
+ Analyze images for quality and technical accuracy, ensuring optimal diagnostic results.
+ Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
+ Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.
+ Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
+ Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
+ Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
+ May be required to assist with other imaging modalities as needed.
**Qualifications**
+ Must have a minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in a hospital and radiology department.
+ Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school.
+ Cross-training in CT MRI Nuclear Medicine and Mammography is required.
+ License is required as issued by ARRT (national) required.
+ CRT (state) required.
+ Fluoroscopy certification.
+ Certification in one modality is required.
+ Must maintain a Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days by start date.)

**Pay Range**
$53.80 - $63.38 /hour
