**Responsibilities**

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values and under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist the Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for the preparation (excluding I.V. Chemotherapy admixtures) and distribution of all medication orders according to hospital policies standard practices of the profession and State and Federal laws and regulations. Must have the ability to be precise in filling medication orders and maintaining records.

**Qualifications**

+ High school graduate with six (6) months previous hospital pharmacy experience

+ Must have basic knowledge of computers

+ Must have IV certification by a qualified institution

+ Must be registered by the State Board of Pharmacy

This position is represented by SEIU Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

**Pay Range**

$31.37 - $39.19 /hour
