ABOUT THE ROLE

As a QC Field Inspector here at Honeywell Industrial Automation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the weatherization work being performed by our subcontractors. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on field operations to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control will contribute to the overall success of our operations. You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you'll work throughout New Jersey. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of the work performed by our subcontractors in our customers’ homes by identifying and addressing any quality issues. Your work will directly contribute to the satisfaction and trust of our customers and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Conduct inspections on field work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

+ Identify and document any quality issues or non-conformities and work with the appropriate teams to address and resolve them.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to improve quality and prevent recurrence of issues.

+ Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings.

+ Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians and other stakeholders.

+ Audit New Jersey Comfort Partners program customer homes when required.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in building science, weatherization retrofits or related fields.

+ Strong people skills – able to interact comfortably with our customers in their homes.

+ Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.

+ Valid driver’s license

WE VALUE

+ Experience in the New Jersey Comfort Partners Program

+ Experience in residential auditing for weatherization

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

+ BPI Certification(s)

+ Certification(s) in quality control or related field.
