**Responsibilities**

Under the direction of the Respiratory Director the Unit Services Technician (UST) performs equipment maintenance on life support equipment according to department policy and manufacturers recommendations; performs quality control checks; performs ventilator calibrations; maintain oxygen tanks and regulators; ordering stocking preparation storage and distribution of respiratory equipment and supplies. Performs electrocardiograms as a backup EKG technician.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Experienced in the use of computers

+ Current BLS certification

+ Able to communicate effectively; perform simple mathematical and record keeping; able to lift move and carry heavy objects and/or equipment

**Preferred:**

+ Experience in the ordering and stocking of supplies

+ Some technical or mechanical skills or training preferred

+ High School diploma preferred

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $27.76 /hour
