**What You Will Do**

+ Participates as a team member to perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and assist in the identification and implementation of corrective actions or technologies.

+ Consider cost impact for recommended action plans for correcting downtime issues on installed equipment.

+ Ensure continuous production is uninterrupted by equipment failures.

+ Reports on Key Performance Indices.

+ Analyze current CMMS data for equipment health indicators and prepare reports.

+ Perform onsite evaluation of existing processes and equipment and make recommendations for improvement.

+ Serves as Project Manager or Technical Advisor, on small-to-medium site Engineering projects, which may include the development of new or modification to existing systems and processes.

+ Perform other duties as required.

**What You Bring To Freeport**

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.

+ Knowledge of the principles and practices of Mechanical Engineering

+ Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions

+ Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions

+ Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards

+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Project Management experience

+ Experience in supervising contractors

**What We Offer You **

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently **$76,000-$104,000** . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
