**Responsibilities**

The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost effective manner. Performs a variety of duties related to the preparation performance and monitoring patients receiving radioactive isotopes for Nuclear Medicine examinations.Performs a variety of duties related to the preparation performance and monitoring patients receiving radioactive istopes for nuclear medicine examinations. Participates in on-call assignments.
**Qualifications**
+ One year of experience is preferred.
+ Graduate of AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology. Venopuncture.
+ Ability to immobilize patients as required for appropriate examination.
+ Knowledge of aseptic techniques. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. Knowledge and ability to initiate basic life support action when necessary.
+ Maintains knowledge of and observes Universal precautions.
+ May answer pages carry a beeper/pager and/or use a two-way radio.
+ Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT-N) CNMT and State of California Nucleaar Medicine certificate.

**Pay Range**
$60.82 - $71.56 /hour
