Improve and enhance implementation of the security management systems, processes and policies within the security department – the Operations and Planning team should enhance Security and Risk Management’s (SRM) ability to develop and analyze relevant information, assess risk, advise on risk mitigation measures, and enhance the Division’s ability to synchronize all security resources. Key elements include enhancing incident reporting (and ensuring investigation), information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.

This position acts as a key element in projecting the mission of SRM to protect the lives and safety of employees, dependents, and visitors, to protect company assets and operations, ensure production and business continuity, and protect the reputation of PT-FI.

**_Additional Responsibilities:_**

1. Direct the execution of Operations Center functions to ensure that human, physical, and technical security measures are employed to consistently with company policies and procedures to maximize risk mitigation, limit losses, and operate efficiently. Ensure collaboration and communication with assigned and responsible government security elements.

2. Responsible for the oversight of high threat areas within the PTFI COW, specifically the East/West Levee roads and the Main Supply Route (MSR). Responsibility includes the management of all personnel, assets, and coordination of all movements and security activities within these designated areas.

3. Manage and direct the staffing, equipping, training, and employment of the SRM Quick Reaction Force (QRF) in both Highlands and Lowlands areas. Conduct mission analyses for routine tasks, in support of the 5-year production forecast, and the long-term development and operation of the project. Determine security needs in support of the Government of Indonesia’s designation as a Vital National Object

4. Responsible for developing, implementing and managing all coordinating activities within the Joint Operations Center.

5. Have operational oversight of contracted private security elements (who remain under direct supervision of Area of Operation leadership)

6. Act as an extension of the VP-SRM, to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of operations through improved synchronization, coordination, and communication. In implementing security operations, direct internal security elements, integrate coordination and operations of government security forces, and ensure that information is collected, analyzed, and briefed to the VP-SRM, and as appropriate, key stakeholders

7. Ensure risk assessment and mission analyses are conducted to facilitate SRM Division-level planning for both internal security elements (employees and contractors) and to ensure that government security forces are integrated in overall security planning. Act as the primary coordinator for government security force mission analysis. Coordinate with SRM-Support Operations to ensure that operational and support requirements for government security forces are met.

8. Play the lead role in long-term planning, as well as preparing, coordinating, authenticating, publishing, and distributing all standard operating procedures and operational security plans.

9. At the direction of the VP-SRM, lead the SRM role in leadership and oversight of emergency response functions. Responsible for the planning and coordinating of emergency preparedness training exercises.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degreeand/orfive (5) years of demonstrated and direct operations management experience.

+ Experience as a military officer/non-commissioned officer/law enforcement/related fields with twenty (20) years of working experience in security risk management and training management skills.

+ Bi-lingual skills in Bahasa Indonesia-English is highly valued.

+ Experience working as a member of an operations staff.

+ Knowledge or experience with Indonesian military doctrine and military organization structure

+ Interpersonal and intercultural skills.

+ Ability to conduct specific subject matter and situation briefings.

+ Excellent managerial and administrative skills.

+ Logistic, cost, and accounting knowledge.

+ Basic understanding of radio communication networks (HV, UHF, VHF and SAT).

+ Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style; commitment to get the job done.

+ Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.

+ Ability to look at situations from several points of view.

+ Persuasive with details and facts.
