**Position Purpose:**
The Delivery Driver I (CDL A) - Rental Equipment has a CDL A license and operates medium to heavy-duty pickup trucks with delivery trailers. This associate delivers rental equipment to our customers and is knowledgeable in the basic operation of the equipment that they deliver. They provide basic operational training on the proper and appropriate equipment use to the customer.
Additionally, the Delivery Driver I (CDL A) - Rental Equipment is responsible for verifying that the equipment is clean and operational prior to and after each delivery and demonstrates high-quality customer service standards for our delivery service. This driver performs local deliveries and pick-ups and is rarely required to complete overnight travel.
The Delivery Driver I (CDL A) - is also referred to as a Rental Delivery Driver I (RDDI).
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ 10% - Administrative/Business Duties - Utilizes company technology platform to document all work performed. Accurately obtains required signatures on rental contracts. Remains current on local licensing and safety requirements. Maintains professionalism in appearance, dress, and personal conduct. Performs other duties assigned by the Regional Rental Manager (RRM), Rental Field Operations Manager (RFOM), Rental Operations Supervisor, or authorized personnel.
+ 20% - Deploy Equipment to Store Locations - Assists with the deployment of new equipment to store locations, including performing PDIs, delivering to the store, and training store associates on the operation of the equipment. Completes proper check-in and check-out procedures for equipment at store locations.
+ 10% - Maintain Parts Inventory - Maintains accurate parts and fleet inventories through proper documentation and transfers in appropriate systems.
+ 60% - Operates Assigned Truck and Makes Delivery - Operate semi tractor-trailer with 53' flatbed trailer and class 7 straight truck commercial motor vehicle & retriever unit to deliver equipment to customers. Loads and unloads equipment on trailer or flatbed truck, including proper securing and tie-down of equipment. We are seeking qualified, experienced Archaeological Field Technicians/Monitors for various construction projects in the state of Arizona. There may also be opportunities to work on archaeological projects outside Arizona, primarily in the states of California, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Wyoming.
An archaeological field technician must possess basic archaeological field and laboratory skills for various survey, excavation, laboratory, and construction monitoring work. + Archaeological survey, excavation, and monitoring
+ During archaeological monitoring the applicant would be responsible for on-site communication with construction and Native American personnel, and for maintaining daily logs that include detailed descriptions of construction activities, communication, and future plans
+ During survey work the applicant will be expected to communicate effectively with crew leader to verify understanding of instructions or site-specific information. Scientific photography, measurement, artifact identification, and recordation of resources will be required

Minimum Requirements

Position Responsibilities

**I. Job Summary**
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
+ Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.
+ Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.
+ Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.
+ Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Route Manager.
+ Works closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
+ Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
+ Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
+ Notifies Dispatch or Route Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.
+ Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.
+ Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
+ Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
+ Positions containers on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
+ Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.
