    + Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems

    + Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed

    + Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

    **Requirements:**

    + High School diploma or equivalent

By the development and maintenance of the GCU campus and surrounding areas, GCU aims to support and ensure the accomplishment of the university’s mission.     Grand Canyon University's Facilities department is seeking an entry level fleet mechanic. Fleet Mechanic is responsible for investigating problems with the university fleet vehicles and making repairs accordingly. Their duties include communicating with vehicle operators to discuss the concerns, carrying out routine maintenance procedures on fleet vehicles and replacing parts on fleet vehicles to promote their functionality.

    Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

    Pay: $19

    What you will do:

    + Perform golf cart and shuttle bus assessments and repairs.

    + Complete moderate level repairs as needed. Moderate repairs to include batteries, fuses, lights and etc.

    + Complete cart, shuttle bus.

    + Maintain inventory in Facilities software program.

    + Train student workers on various departmental tasks.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    What you will need:
