    **JOB SUMMARY**

    The Patient Service Technician is responsible for delivering and picking up equipment from homecare patients.

    **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

    + Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients. Sets up equipment and instructs patients on the basic use of equipment. Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.

    + Schedules and organizes daily deliveries and pickups according to geographic territory. Loads and unloads durable medical or infusion equipment, oxygen and medical supplies onto delivery vehicle.

    + Complies with all applicable regulatory requirements including providing documents needed for the driver qualification file and abiding by hours of service, daily log, hazardous materials (placarding, training and shipping papers) and vehicle inspection and maintenance regulations.

    + Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms, reimbursement documents and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel.

    + Notify supervisor if any one of the following items is discovered in the patient's home:Physical abuse of any family memberHome environment is unsafe for the care ordered, such as unsanitary conditions or insufficient food for childrenAnimals in the home that cause unsanitary conditions

    + Maintains daily vehicle maintenance logs and incident reports. Ensures vehicles are in proper working condition. Ensures preventive maintenance on vehicles is performed on a timely basis according to D.O.T., F.D.A. and Joint Commission.

    + Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed and on an on-call basis.

    + May clean and assist with the repair of equipment.

    + Performs routine vehicle maintenance including the checking of gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes. Reports malfunction to supervisor.

    What part will you play?

    The Associate Installation Technician (AIT) is an entry level position responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is a field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients’ buildings. The install tech needs to coordinate with project management, field superintendents and others to fully understand their role on specific projects. They interpret our drawing packages to create the basis of the finished systems.

    This installation can include access control/CCTV/ intrusion detection systems, equipment racks, etc. This position will work under the close supervision of other staff members while attaining the skills and experience needed to perform normal installation tasks.

    What will you be doing?

    + Training and developing the basic skills needed is a key goal of this position

    + Proper identification of cables, pulling, cutting wrapping, hanging and testing cable runs to functional and cable riser diagrams

    + Physical installation of a wide variety of technology into a wide variety of locations

    + Execute a wide variety of cabling terminations for all wire and connector types

    + Support the preparation of equipment racks for staging of equipment wire lacing including installation of power strips, grounding bars, jack-fields, etc.

    + Able to read and understand functional design drawings as well as cable riser diagrams and rack elevations

    This position will not be alone on jobsites and will rely on others for most decisions. In general, the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites.

    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. The employee may be exposed to construction site conditions on a regular basis. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. The employee can typically spend at least 50% of their time on their feet and be required to mobile around the construction site. The employee must have the ability to occasionally climb ladders, use stairs and lift and/or move materials up to 40 pounds in construction areas.
