    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Manual and machine TIG/MIG.
    Understanding of the use of measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, tapes etc.
    Qualified to read blueprints.
    Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
    Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
    Subject completed welding tasks to appropriate inspections.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and AWS welding symbols.

    Job Summary:
    HVAC Start Up Techs are HVAC contractors responsible for ensuring that all safety and compliance standards are met and to provide technical assistance when necessary. Start up techs must follow and comply with EPA, DMV, State and local building codes when they service these systems.     HVAC Start Up/ Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
    • Inspect, repair, modify and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration and air conditioning filters, condensers, chillers, water cooling towers, forced air converter units, pumps, automatic and hand valves, expansion valves.
    • Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of gas and electrically operated air conditioning equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
    • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, test equipment utilized in the trade and a motor vehicle; maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition; maintain parts and tool inventory.

    Schedule: 2:00p-10:30pm Mon-Fri (Overtime extended shift and weekend work required)

    Compensation: $20.00 per hour + $1.25 shift differential

    THE ROLE

    The Finishing Operator/Inspector is responsible to converts master sheets to panels or sheets according to production work orders. The operator will be required to operate automated or semi-automated cutting equipment and inspect the product for conformance to customer and industry specifications.
