    UCT is seeking an experienced and talented Metal Silk Screen Technician III to join us in Chandler, AZ! Metal Silk Screen Technician III is responsible for performing detailed silkscreen on various metal products and components. This role involves applying labels and identification marks on parts, ensuring adherence to specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. They will use various inks over stencils and screens using airbrush guns by applying screen printing machine mechanically and by hand. Assists with the maintenance and cleanup of spray equipment and work area.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Execute part marking processes using silk screening technologies to apply labels, logos, and other identifiers onto parts as per engineering specifications.
    Set up and process jobs as required by customer drawings, blueprints, and/or artwork.
    Operate silkscreen machinery to print designs and markings on parts and products. Prepare screens and inks and ensure the accurate alignment of stencils and templates.
    Keep track of ink, solvents, and other supplies, reordering as necessary to avoid shortages.
    Clean tables and equipment after ink use.
    Keep an accurate count of parts finished per work order.
    Maintain accurate records of production runs and quality checks. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
    Follow all safety and hazard procedures.
    Able to design and use fixtures to perform set-ups for screening and airbrushing parts.
    Must be able to read, understand, and follow written directions.
    Must be able to communicate positively and effectively with other employees.
    Record required information on computers and travelers.
    Route parts to the next department according to the traveler
    Follows all SOPs, Lean manufacturing processes, company policies, and practices.
    Complete training on assigned processes.
    Perform daily organization and upkeep of assigned process area.
    Attend monthly Communication meetings and training programs as required.
    If required, handle hazardous chemicals correctly and safely.
    Follow all policies and directions for safe use of and proper disposal of hazardous chemicals.
