Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Associate degree (or higher) in a related field from an accredited institution preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or GIS software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to document project progress effectively.

The typical pay range for this role is:

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Design Engineer (Interiors)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer (Interiors) with strong experience in mechanical design for aviation interiors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of practical experience in this field, with proficiency in Catia and AutoCad, as well as a solid understanding of regulatory certification rules.

Responsibilities

+ Design built-in structures or fixtures for aircraft interiors, such as monuments, cabinets, partitions, and other interior components.

+ Create and modify mechanical drawings using Catia or AutoCad.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure design specifications are met.

+ Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).

+ Handle multiple initiatives effectively as a self-starter.

+ Communicate effectively both in writing and interpersonally.

+ Maintain an organized approach to work, with a positive attitude and disposition.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of eight years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation.

+ Proficiency in Catia and AutoCad.

+ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with two years of experience in business aircraft interiors design (or eight years of experience without a degree).

+ Working knowledge of FAA, EASA, and TCCA regulatory certification rules.

+ Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

+ Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Strong organizational skills.

Work Environment

The work environment includes collaboration with various cross-functional teams, utilizing technologies such as Catia and AutoCad. The design engineer must be organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00

Job Summary:

Raytheon’s Integrated Electrical Solutions (IES) Center – Surface Based Effector Production (SBEP) Department is seeking a Section Leader to support the production and/or development of electrical subsystems for a Naval based program.

This position will manage engineers at various levels who are in technical or programmatic roles. This leader will also contribute directly to program efforts as a program lead. Willing to collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Directly or indirectly support digital, analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems.

+ This position is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ

What You Will Do:

+ Performance management and career development activities

+ Oversee the direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition

+ Collaborate and communicate with other sections and teams

+ Support department and directorate level initiatives

+ Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures

+ Oversight of personnel issue resolution

+ Manage employee timecards

+ Required relevant experience to include a combination of the following:

+ Experience in analysis, test, measurement or integration of electrical products or systems

+ Current or prior experience with missile guidance section or subassembly production and/or development

+ Experience serving as Control Account Manager (CAM)

+ Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects; Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) or Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL) preferred

+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
