    Integrated Solutions Modeling & Architecture (ISMA) directorate develops, evaluates, and implements architectures solutions for our customers’ largest, most complex challenges across all operational domains.     As a Mid-Level Operations Research Analyst and Simulation Developer (Brawler), you will participate in challenging multi-disciplinary research across integrated product teams consisting of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC), Signal Processing and Performance Simulation. You will participate in the design, development, and utilization of high-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments and contribute to system modeling and data analysis activities for the purposes of supporting new business, missile system design, performance assessment and flight tests according to the program schedule.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    + You will participate in the development and implementation of model-based solutions to support mission trade studies and performance simulations and ensure they meet defined requirements and functions.

    + You will contribute your knowledge of performance engineering practices, and procedures, to evaluate work across a wide range of intriguing computational problems.

    + You will contribute and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from the program or team experts, and work on diverse projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.

    + You will provide development support throughout the product lifecycle.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    + Typically requires a Bachelors’ Degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Science, Physics, or Mathematics and a minimum of five (5) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in Systems Engineering or Operation Research, with specific experience in the following areas (a Master’s Degree will satisfy 2 years of work experience and a PhD will satisfy the work experience)

    + Simulation experience with government engagement models like Brawler, Radguns, or ESAMS in a modeling & simulation position and/or project

    + Applying software development processes and object-oriented design using C/C++

    + Using scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python

    + Using numerical computing environments such as MATLAB

    + Creating models and simulations (not solid modeling)

    Qualifications We Value:

    Job Summary :

    As a Principal Data Analytics & Operations Research Analyst , you will participate in Offensive and Defensive Multi-Domain Operations Projects that upgrade Raytheon deployed architectures and systems for US and International customers in all theaters. This is multi-disciplinary work that knits together capabilities, ‘know-how’, and products from all Raytheon companies. Tasks require developing and evaluating data/information for benchmarking of models of emerging red side threats, understanding how the US wants to counter these threats, and developing integrated solutions. You will guide teams that develop strategies to run thousands of campaign CONOPS variations and quantify the contribution of component systems (and systems-of-systems) to achieving customer’s desired end states. You will interact with US and International Customers from original requirement through operations.

    + You will work in a team environment on diverse projects providing innovative approaches and solutions to create simulations and models for engagement, mission and campaign studies

    + You will provide technical and schedule direction for development of analysis and simulation products, prepare detailed plans, and interact with government counterparts as an authority on simulation products
